Kids’ Summer Reading Club
For every five books read and logged, kids will receive a special JPL Summer Reading brag tag along with a raffle ticket entry. Keep track of the books read on paper logs available for pickup in the Children’s Room. Logs can be submitted to Children’s staff any time the library is open.
The more books you read the better your chances are of winning a $25 gift card of your choice so read, read, read!
Those that read and log at least 5 books by Monday, August 5th can pick up their free book and gift bag beginning on August 12th in the Children’s Room. Staff will be contacting the winners of the gift cards that same week.

Teen Summer Reading Program
Sign up at JPL and you will receive a reading log, a special refrigerator magnet, and a game board of events to attend and activities to complete to earn extra points toward prizes.
Registration begins June 11 at 3pm at our sign up event where we are giving away one book to each student who signs up. Registration continues throughout the summer, but register before July 2 to earn extra points. Bring your library card when you register if you’d like to check out the first book for our Comics and Cuisine book club (first meeting July 9).
Don’t miss our End of Summer Party! We’ll play Laser Tag and Gagaball, eat pizza, and give out prizes. Read 2+ books and submit your reading log by August 6 to attend. (A signed permission slip, available starting July 30, is required). Read 5+ books to be eligible for our grand prize raffle of a $50 Gift Card. Other prizes will be given out at the party, including guest passes provided by the Goat Climbing Gym, gift cards, and books.

Adult Summer Reading Program
Summer is here and it's time to read!
There are two ways to participate: read and attend library events. If you attend an event, make sure to get the summer reading code and write it down.
Complete at least 5 activities (books, events, or a combination of each) and you will be entered into the raffle to win a basket of books. Every extra event attended or book read above 5 will give you another entry.
Register and log your activity below or on a paper form available at the Reference Desk beginning on July 1st.
Please log all activities and hand in all forms by the end of the day on August 10th. The winner will be drawn on August 12th.
