Hi, I’m Cathy Folk-Pushee and I’m an Adult Services Librarian. What does that mean? It means that I organize, run, and, sometimes, speak at programs with adult information needs in mind. I particularly enjoy helping small businesses and job-seekers learn about technology and other resources to make their lives easier.

I’m also a reader. I enjoy epic fantasy, sci-fi, and humor. Some of my favorite reads lately were Graceling by Kristin Cashore, 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami, and The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern.

I’ve worked at a couple different libraries in BCCLS and have been at JPL since 2009 when I started as a shelver during library school. One of my favorite things about this library is all the amazing programs and events we have here. There is always something fun, or interesting, or challenging going on. All you need to do is ask and I’d be happy to help you find what you’re looking for or learn whatever it is you’ve been putting off until later!
